Ready, steady, go! But first let me briefly introduce myself. I am a country-bred, middle-aged man from southern Austria and work as a computer scientist in Zurich (Switzerland).  

 

In the past two decades, I chose the path of least resistance. My belly got wobbly as a result of my lazy lifestyle and some people told me there was need for an updated version of me.

 

Time to get active! With the help of Michaela I am going to turn into a well-shaped athlete in the coming year. Mathias will make sure that I have the right equipment to do so. And Christina will support me with my blogging.

 

I definitively hope that one day I will love training as much as I love Swiss chocolate. See you at the finish line of "Ironman Zurich 2017"!
