Week 04: Running on the Beach

A bit of a hiccup during training but nothing to panic about. I was hoping for a fast recovery from the weekend race but felt too weak for my training on Monday. Tuesday morning took me to the pool where I swam 4 km with various exercises, none of them enjoyable. The evening was filled with a 3 hour spinning session. On Wednesday morning I found myself in the pool again, swimming at a steady pace. Long way to go to get swim-fit! Wednesday evening, Thursday morning as well as evening, and Friday morning were sweetened by spinning units.

Finally, weekend! On my way to Nice! Superb weather, deli food. My focus was on running. Saturday brought a 2h jog along the Mediterranean coast - gorgeous! On Sunday, a delicious French breakfast prepared me for a 1 hour morning run. The rest of my day was filled with sunshine and joy. Highly recommended!
