Week 05 - Slow Mode

This week is about relaxation. I am doing everything very slowly, trying to avoid a fast mode. The Ironman Shop newsletter advertised “relax sandals” - an appropriate motto for this week.

Michaela’s plan suggests a daily one hour spinning session from Monday to Friday, plus two two hour race bike tours to improve my pedalling technique. On Tuesday and Thursday, I'll have to do some swimming, mainly exercises that focus on one of my weaknesses - sagging arms while gliding.

This comfortable week will hopefully prepare me for harder workout that lies ahead.
