The race is behind me and this week's training programme takes my physical exhaustion into account. Starting off with some easy cycling on Monday, I am enjoying some floundering about in the warm water of the indoor pool on Tuesday. Wednesday is even better – no sports at all! Thursday is a no sports day as well. Friday finally brings some more serious workout - 45 minutes of swim training and a 45 minute running unit. A longer swimming session (3.8 km crawl) and another 45 minute run is scheduled for Saturday. Michaela had planned a 3 hour cycling trip for Sunday but thanks to the bad weather I have a nice excuse...
