St. Moritz felt great the other weekend, so I decided to prolong my stay. One more mountain had to be climbed, and one more glacial lake was to be visited...
I followed the path from St. Moritz to Alp Staz, on to Pontresina right through Val Roseg, and from there to Lej da Valdret, the famous glacial lake of Piz Corvatsch.
What a great place to take photos! When you stand there at the lake's shore and face all those glaciers of Piz Sella, Piz Poval, and Piz Bernina, you feel, well, quite small.
I spent too much time strolling around in those marvellous Swiss mountains, and so I had to hurry back. Too late! Night fell upon me about 7km before Pontresina. It was quite an interesting experience to hike in the darkness, and certainly not an experience I'd like to make ever again...
The rest of the week brought some easy swimming and jogging, nearly no biking.
