The training is getting noticeably more intense: 10km swimming drills, 30km of jogging with the first real interval training (10x400m), and some easy cycling besides lots of nasty kettlebell squats.
Sunday holds a wonderful surprise for me, though – a welcome alternative to indoor cycling. I do a hike in the southernmost range of the Appenzeller Alps called "Churfirsten", up to mount Chaeserrugg. Ski lifts are closed due to absence of snow.
